At Southwest
Mississippi Electric Power Association we
are proudly named "electric power
association" because we are a
cooperative, organized to reflect ties
with the people we were created to serve.
This name means something: local
commitment, local control, local
employees and local service.No one
knows what is best for a community more
than the men and women who live and work
there. Your friends and neighbors at
Southwest Mississippi have a long history
of working as your partners in bringing
jobs and opportunity to the areas we
serve. Every day, our dedicated employees
make a positive difference by bringing
people together in a unified effort to
make life better.
The staff at Southwest Mississippi is
very knowledgeable about the electric
utility industry and regularly attends
training sessions. This is a must for
maintaining a well-trained staff.
However, it is also important for us to
hear from you. We encourage and need your
input as to how we measure up to your
expectations, and whether there are
services or programs we need to offer.
Members of electric power associations
enjoy reliable service, but they want
something more. They expect the
fulfillment of their electric power
association's promise: to put consumers'
priorities above all others and give them
a voice in determining the direction
their co-op takes.
