Recreational / Temporary Customers
Deposits for customers served under the seasonal-recreational rate in which the purpose of the structure is human habitation (a place of residence) will be $195.00 plus $5.00 membership fee. The deposit for additional services for the same purpose will be $200 per meter. In addition to the deposit, there will be a connection charge of $100.00 per meter.
Deposits for customers served under the seasonal-recreational rate in which the purpose of the structure is not for human habitation (a place of residence) will be $95.00 plus $5.00 membership fee. The deposit for additional services for the same purpose will be $100 per meter. In addition to the deposit, there will be a connection charge of $100.00 per meter
The connection charge will apply each time a seasonal-recreational account is initially connected and each time it is reconnected after having been disconnected for a period of one billing cycles (30 days). If account is reconnected within one billing cycle (30 days), the regular reconnection charge will apply.
EXCEPTION:
Deposit for seasonal-recreational account for a customer who has: 1. A permanent residence or commercial account for period of at least 18 months, and 2. This residential account has not had any collection, return check, or additional deposit charges required, in last 18 months. The deposit can be reduced to $25.00, however the $100.00 connection charge will apply.
*Proof of Ownership
Proof of ownership is required for existing residential structures or manufactured homes in order to receive $10 deposit. Service to build a new residence will not require proof of ownership to receive $10 deposit. Proof of ownership will be in form of a copy of county homestead exemption, or tax receipt, or copy of official deed.
Commercial
Commercial property owners can call the office for membership and deposit fees.
